Robert Gibbs admitted today that the Democrats may be in trouble when it comes to the midterm elections.  Gibbs feels as if the house may lose as many as 40 to 60 seats.  The republicans would need to gain at least 40 seats in order for John Boehner to take over as Speaker of the House, thereby dethroning Nancy Pelosi.  We can only hope.  Although this all sounds good.  You have to remember that these democrats are in trouble and they know it.  They are going to pull out all the tricks they can.  This is one more.  The trick is simple:  Announce to the world that the Dems are going to lose control of the house.  This will cause the conservative base to relax and maybe not head to the polls in great numbers as once predicted.  This will also cause the Dems base to come out in force.  So, it will be crucial for everyone to remain clear of the rhetoric and understand that these people are like snakes backed into a corner.  They are going to do everything they can to maintain their majority.  This is only the beginning.
